My Music Video

Freeze Frame With Intertextual Reference

This was my main intertextual reference from Kesha Video Tik Tok. This is the only clear intertextual reference from her video in my video, but the style i used of the getting ready to go out to the party is the whole idea of her video. So they do have a strong link together.

Freeze Frame With Intertextual Reference

I took this image from the first series of 'Skins' I thought this kind of image would be a good way of ending my music video so people have that instant intertextual reference of Skins and can relate to what is being represented, so they will remember this video when they think of skins. I think this is my favorite freeze frame as in my opinion it creates the strongest intertextual reference.

Letter to producer

To Mr Steven Greenberg,
I would like to ask for permission to use the song Funkytown by Lipps Inc. For educational reasons as I'm doing A level Media Studies (studying at St.Andrews catholic School Leatherhead) and have been assigned a task to create a music video for a song of my choice. I wont be using any of the origional video coverage, just the soundtrack to go with my own video coverage. I'm just writing to you to get permision and not have to face any copyright issues. The video will be put on youtube so that i can easily acess it to my blog which will be shown to the rest of my class.
I would be very greatful if you could accept my terms.

Many thanks,
Yours sincerely Amanda Corless
